Fibromyalgic pains...

... are boundless. Boundless in their intensity, boundless in their incidence. They can be permanent pains but they can change in respect of parts of the body, strength, duration, and frequency. They can include the «whole-body pain syndrome» as well as «migrating pains».

Patients describe them as deep muscular pains, burning, spasms, shooting or stabbing pains. Very often these pains and rigidities are worse in the morning; frequently stressed groups of muscles hurt more.

In the jawbones there may be pains escalating to most severe face pains, which may be accompanied by problems with the oral cavities and teeth.
